A Beautiful BreakThrough!

This album is definately worth buying! Upbeat jazzy sounds, will keep your feet moving through out the entire album, not fastwarding one song! Judd has a very melonic voice, that takes you somewhere other than where you are. Now that is totally addicting!

Judd Starr is the next rockstar god

"Luminescent" is exactly that - a solitary light in a foggy sea of conformity...a creative and skillful mix of acoustic guitar, piano, and synth. The lyrics are honest, soulful, and clever - tracks such as "Anything" and "May 22nd" are definetly relatable to anyone on Zoloft, but then Judd gives us "Firefly" and "Concrete Castles" (I just love a good contradiction)...leaving us to wonder... is the overall message one of hope, or are all concrete castles just fairy tails destined to fall? I guess Judd is the only one that knows for sure, but I do know one thing - this album ROCKS!!!

I really like the vocal style. The instrumentation keeps my interest and overall I would buy this CD.

One of the best "new" albums I've heard.

The "Illuminicent" album by Judd Starr is great. Great songs, lyrics, instruments...I really vibe the mellow-effortless style. Kinda reminds me of Cause n Effect in the late 90's but better. There's a hint of country in the harmonies sometimes which is kinda cool. Also has a slight guitar-synth new-wave feel but in modern day. A+

Judd obviously knows how to write songs. Catchy, great production. Love the whole CD, and that's rare.
